amon vs azula

I found it a bad addition.I agree with him being better off as a non-bender.Yes, his design was great because it was mysterious. We can't just assume things like these. I mean, come one. What has Kuvira done to be considered a master eartbender? But shouldn't that mean he could bend all other water with minimal motion as well? I find it kind of annoying that they created such an unbeatable beast. I'm 1000% he would use it if he could. Idk, honestly we don't have enough information to determine this. She countered a fire blast from Zuko's dragon. Bloodbending during the day was far too OP esspecially with Amon taking bending away. I don't see how the inventor should be the master when she already did too much. Another thing that is notable is that he is the most skilled bloodbender in history and that achieving this would mean bloodbending training. How would he get tagged when he had never battled before?? Azula takes more than ten seconds to charge up lightning. Are the grunts more skilled than Azula. Give him his bloodbending and Azula can't win, don't and Amon can't win. Similar technique indeed but it doesn't mean that a bloodbender can do that since they might be taught to focus on the water insdie someone but nobody might have told them to be more creative. For example, being born a bender is a gift, but you still have to train to realize that gift. or something like that. It doesn't as proved with the metalbenders. It's pretty similar. I don't think water hands work that way. Katara had struggled learning other techniques but she learned bloodbending without any teaching in minutes. I highily doubt that just because he can bend blood that way, he would be able to bend normal water that way. 5. are with their native elements even without AS. That's how I see it. Power as the characters call it is more like "overall enchangement in stregth, energy and raw power".Having more raw power, wouldn't help Katara break free of bloodbedning. For all we know he might know how to use it. This came to a head when Ozai punished him for a perceived slight by horrifically burning his face and sending him into exile, refusing to let him return until he had captured the Avatar. I liked the Mask, he was very well designed as a character (art wise). I'm not sure about that impression. Not all of them are.I agree that he'd have water training but why be a master? 2. We know nothing about it except the power itself. I believe it's mostly energy that affects bloodbending and not raw power at all. @XImpossibruX: yes but he would see her charging up and get ready to dodge. Determined to prove his worth to his father, Zuko hunted Aang across the … [–]swaggy2626 6 points7 points8 points 9 months ago (0 children), Amon, because unless you're a bloodbender there's no way you can take him on a straight fight, if she ambushed him she would have a a chance, [–]ndanan2212 13 points14 points15 points 9 months ago (0 children). 1. Azula is a villain, and she ranks highly among the villains of Avatar and The Legend of Korra. Not to mention that if you take a look at the location, there seems to be no water there. Why do that? He's useless against masters at her level without BB. If it didn't require raw power, why couldn't Hama do it in base and need the full moon? You don't need to get so worked up over these things. @justicethorpsylocke: But we still can't assume that he is able to perform the most powerful bending technique just like that. Amon never got enough feats to quantify himself. This comparsion answers your question and grounds my thoughts on why Amon isn't necessesarily a master waterbender despite being a master bloodbender. You don't have to master normal waterbending to master bloodbending. However, I think your point about "mastering certain technique" is well-made. Same, if he was a non-bender i'm pretty sure he would be one of the most skilled and powerful characters in the series. When Azula resorts to mere punches and kicks, Amon is able to outmaneuver her and knock her flat. Amon appears to be a calm, passive individual most of the time, as he has never been seen losing his composure. 2. Considering Ursa was a nonbender and Ozai still married her (given it was for the powerful bloodline, but she was still respected as the queen), also Mai’s family were and still able to hold a high ranking government position. Due to the fact that Amon has like.....4 waterbending feats, none of them related to actually fighting.....Azula wins. And Azula has instant lightning too. I’m curious to know who the winner of this battle would be. Bloodbending shouldn't be as hard to learn as other techniques becasue Katara and most probably 10 year olds would struggle bending water spouts but were able to bloodbend. Amon cannot hurt anyone without bloodbending. Plus, its implied that the reason why Amon was so successful against benders was because he was using subtle bloodbending to throw off their aim - and without bloodbending, he wouldn't even have that. @marty2187: People say that he wasn't tagged by anyone till the end of the series because he is too agile...What? This is a great fight, and could go either way, both are agile, Amon easily dodges the best benders and attacks with Chi Blocks, Azula however, managed to avoid the Aang Gang INCLUDING the very nimble Aang while powerless. [–]Darth_Angeal 1 point2 points3 points 9 months ago (0 children). Their ultimate goal was to introduce equality for all by permanently ridding the world of benders. They are all fodder and way too far from masters. And they can most definitely bend more water under a full moon - like the Water Tribe mooks from season 1 siege. Also, Zuko wasn't able to generate lightning because only few firebenders had the gift to balance their chi that way. Ming Hua, on the other hand, can move her water arms while barely moving. Azula is one of the strongest characters in Avatar: The Last Airbender, but there are plenty of other characters in the franchise that are stronger. Powerful, yes, but silly because he never had a valid reason to go against benders or it was never described if he had any. Funny you brought up martial skills cause he is obviously outmatched by her on that field. I''l try to explain my thoughts. They wouldn't be able to learn everything Master Pakku had learned by training but they were bloodbenders unlike him. I didn't even think of that and you just blew my mind. I don't think Wan is a master, Aang only used that at the AS. They just wasted his potential, and back them-selves into a corner to kill him off in a random way because no-one could challenge him outside of the AS. But I hate people like him or Ozai that are like the big bad bosses that don't reveal their faces until the finale...I find it annoying, like...Who do you think you are? That explains why only Ozai, Azula and Iroh were able to do it. Princess Azula was born to Prince Ozai and Princess Ursa in 85 AG and was named after her paternal grandfather, Fire Lord Azulon. The Legend of Korra. Go ahead, explain. Nothing indicates Amon is. so, to recap: Amon is faster, more experienced and has more advanced style of fighting.
